Our training is vital for anyone looking to develop their understanding of epilepsy for professional or personal reasons. It is designed to support organisations such as business, schools, health care professionals and services.
We provide up to date information through our professional and highly experienced trained speakers. They help ensure that by the end of the session, people attending will have established a good level of understanding of the condition and the skills and knowledge needed to provide a safe and secure environment for people with epilepsy.
Our talks look at:
- What epilepsy is.
- The causes.
- Seizures and seizure types.
- Seizures and their symptoms.
- How to provide support / Help.
- When to call an ambulance.
- Living with the condition.
- Epilepsy in the work place.
Cost
- £200 for businesses. Up to 15 people (plus room hire if needed)
- We offer special rates for both schools and charities. All we ask is for either a donation (min to cover costs) or for schools to do a fundraising event (which will raise awareness of epilepsy and our charity)
Training lasts approximately one and half to two hours (or tailored to your needs). Delivered at a venue and time to suit you.
